I love Akagi so much. It may have a very unusual art style and a steep learning curve if you don't play Mahjong, but it's one of the most awesome anime I've ever seen.

This is also possibly the easiest costume I've ever done that wasn't entirely garbage. The pants were from my closet, the sneakers from Payless, the T-shirt from Michael's, and the white shirt is a boy's school uniform shirt I bought for dirt cheap at Burlington Coat Factory, and the wig is an Angela that I straightened, hacked up, and then drew little blotches all over in grey. The all-important NOSE was done with Ben Nye nose and scar wax sculpted directly onto my face, covered with a bit of liquid latex for adhesive and then painted over with cream foundation. (It's Akagi. You have to have a huge nose or you're doing it wrong.)
