For my first cosplay, I decided to do a character that is not so complicated because I will be working on it alone. Of course I knew beforehand that I will be commissioning the dress, for I do not have any skills on sewing, but the rest of the costume will be basically done by me. Sohee had been my dream pet that I never got in Ragnarok Online. Her character and story fancied me. I find Sohee to be a sweet and lonesome creature.

The dress had been commission and made by a local seamstress but the fabric had been my choices (light pink Katrina, fuschia Satin, light lavender Geena Silk, purple Tetoron) and I personally bought them. I made sure I was able to explain the costume well and provided as much reference picture as I can.

My favorite task is making her Binyeo (head dress). I was glad to be able to sew the gold trim on the pink ribbon successfully. I am particular to cosplaying a pet Sohee, not the monster-enemy types roaming in-game, that is why I opted to have those huge golden bells. It was messy making the bells out of papermached styropor. It is hollow on the inside, I placed real bells so they will make jingly sounds when I move. The gold paint I used was not shiny enough so I added glitters to make them shine. Some of them got into my face and wig during the event.

I also made her a Silver Knife of Chastity dagger but I was not able to have a photo taken with it.

The most challenging task for me to do was the wig. Back then I did not know where to buy cheap wigs or even afford one, so I made one myself using yards of fine yarn in shades of black, blue, and purple! I sew and wove each strand on a hair net... took me a month to finish it *back pains*

2008
I wore the costume again on October 19, 2008 making a few revisions with the head dress. For one thing, I has now a wig! ^0^ I replaced the bells with more accurate-looking ones, and added a twisted hair bun extension on top.
