I needed something to wear for the ball at Ame (and for the Grand Cosplay Ball later) and this was it. I've always loved the Code Geass costume designs, I find them to be fantastic british fopishness with a fun twist. I may well make another one sometime in the future.

This costume in particular was my first attempt at using a pattern, I decided that was a better way to go than trying to make a complete suit from nowhere. In general, despite the huge alterations I had to do to the jacket I feel it was worth doing and I like the way it turned out.

The hardest bit was making the jacket front look right, it changes from image to image in the referance art and in the show.
