Asch the Bloody

Description

This costume was insane to make but I love how it came out. The wig is styled for the "in the rain" look as I don't like his normal slicked back style.

The costume is made of mostly moleskin (my fabric of choice). Most of the designs were appliqued on and the entire tabbard is lined in a dark red. The top part was made separate but then hand stitched on so the stitching wouldn't show. The boots were made by using a pair of flip-flops, cutting the bottom to the right shape, and gluing them to the bottom of the rest of the boot "covers".

The sword was made out of wood and was my first wood project. It was cut out of red oak and sanded down with an electric sander. Then coated and painted. The sheath is made of moleskin with appliqued designs on.
