Description

I'm so happy with how this costume finally came out. it was over a year in construction, but i finally got it finished!! I refused to do this costume without boots i was really happy with, and i totally lucked out when my mom found a perfect pair at good will. they were brown and had straps all over them but with a little bit of hard work we cleaned it up cleared out the straps, drilled lace holes and painted the boots. i'm very pleased with how they came out.

Most of the costume is altered parts of my Super Sailor Jupiter. i made a new broach, brought the transformation watch, and crafted the belt, and a few other small touches.

The belt took a long long time. it doesn't look like it but it has several layers of paint to give it a pink pearl like quality. i started with 4 layers of ballet slipper pink spray paint. then bought a slightly darker shade of paint and hand painted a few more layers. finally i followed it all up with a light clear gloss coat for shine and to keep the paint from rubbing or chipping off.

Silver beads around the old hair bobbles after a fresh coat of paint completed my transformation from anime into to PGSM! over all it was a LOT of fun! and i'm super glad i finally got to do PGSM Jupiter, i've wanted to for a long time ever since i watched PGSM back in 2005. I had the time of my life running around in this costume and made a lot of great friends, I'm hoping to have the opportunity to created other PGSM creations in the future so keep checking back! ^_^
