I was cast as Chris Redfield again in this years "Resident Evil Tour" (or as I been calling it "Biohazard in Coolidge").
What this is is a scripted outdoors, haunted house style "scare fest" in Coolidge, AZ. Throughout the whole year preparations were being made to host this one night event (Nov 1st), a script being written, re written and characters and "actors" (mostly cosplayers who enjoy portraying as specific characters) being decided upon. RSVPs are sent out, confirmed and cosplayers from around Arizona make the trek into Coolidge to scare the crap out of these participants (in 2008 we had 70 confirmed participants).

The main idea is that the participants are the unaffected survivors of a viral outbreak in Coolidge, AZ (we don't try to play it off or pretend we're really in Raccoon City). Zombies begin to attack the home the survivors are enjoying there evening in and the local S.T.A.R.S. team (all based on existing characters from the RE games) comes in to evac the survivors to an extraction point.
Along the way we find hints to the research being done on the virus as we got attacked by zombies, chainsaw villagers (bella sisters) and a run in with Nemesis.

This year I was asked to cosplay a more recognizable and classic Chris Redfield, namely the "easier" Code: Veronica version to match our Code: Veronica version of Claire Redfield.
Last year I was cast as Chris but wore an unrecognizable alternate outfit (the "street wear" Made In Heaven one from the Gamecube remake). No one was familiar with the look and I didn't look much like an officer

As of Nov 1st the costume is displayed as 100% complete however I do plan on changing out a few pieces here and there for more accurate game portrayal and to buy my own tactical vest (the one pictured is a borrowed one)
