This outfit was done entirely by scratch. The material used was a stretchy velvet, which I preferred over the usual nylon spandex that everyone uses. It gave it a richer feel and it tends to hide the wrinkles etc when you move.

The shoes were made by hand as well, mostly hand-stitched. The diamonds were sewn on, the gloves were hand-stitched, the white cuffs were hand-stitched and I'm very proud of them. Next up to bat to fix is the white collar piece. The hat took almost 5 hours to complete because I had to make my own pattern and I was very particular on how I wanted it to sit on my head. Mask is painted on currently, and I'm in the works on buying an actual mask.

Overall, this costume has gone over incredibly well at the cons and I love doing Harley. My favourite part is probably the fact that I have white-blond hair, with bangs, and it's the perfect length to do Harley out of costume as well. Blue eyes always helps of course ;)

I always have a blast cosplaying her, she's incredible, my favourite Batman character, and c'mon, she gets Mistah J!
