This is the dress that Rukia is wearing in the initial story arc, when Byakuya and Renji first show up to take her back to Soul Society. I have always loved this dress, and wanted to make it as much for cosplay as to simply have the dress to wear as normal clothes. Overall, I was not completely happy with the construction of the dress, as I accidentally cut the pattern a size and a half too big and had to take it on all over. The neckline is also too wide and too long, but that wasn't something I could take in without damage to the whole thing so I have to live with it. I'm content enough with the resultant that I didn't scrap it, but I DO plan to remake it, probably out of a matter jersey material next time. The only thing from the outfit that I lack right now is her backpack, but hopefully I can remedy that by AZ.
