Alucard Farenheights Tepes
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night

I really didn't like my last Alucard costume. I mean it was a good costume but I had to deviate so much from the original character concept due to lack of fabric available at the local fabric store that I did'nt feel it really captured who alucard was. So I have completely redone him and tried to nail the costume down to every last detail possible! First off this entore costume set me back about $300 bucks @_@.... I used twill cotton for the jacket, bracade silver satin for the liner, gold braided trim for the accents, suede for the inner vest and silver buckles down the middle. The cape is so epic I used 12 yards of black and silver satin total for the whole thing! I wanted it to be a true vampire cape which means that its basically a giant half circle if you were to grab a end and open it up. (kind of like bat mans cape) The belt is 1/4 inch cow hide leather which is a pain to cut if you only have fabric scissors to do it with, i got a few blisters on my palms from that....curse you Alucard and your bloody over the top aristocrat-ness!!!!!!!
The belt I hand tooled from the leather as stated above with a hand engraved pewter cross buckle in the middle. Geesh the list goes on and on! Well finally I can be happy with it and move on with my life, this costume was a challenge indeed!
