Strawberry Pink Elegant Gothic Lady

This was really hard to make, since it's all from scratch. I was tight on money so the material isn't the BEST, but it's quite comfy; it's mostly flannel, I think. I got the pink fabric at the Fabric Place and the skirt fabric at Wal Mart, and the lace I also got at Wal Mart. I used a pattern [for both mine and my friend Hana's costume] that is for a Christmas caroler's outfit, and it worked quite nice since it included both the cape and the skirt. I bought my undershirt at Savers, where I put some leftover lace to make it tie in well with the overall pinkness of the design. I also bought my wigs at Savers, and then merged them both together [they were quite thin individually, and I have brunette hair xD] to make one wig. I used my tiara from 8th grade graduation, and I brought my pink Hello Kitty purse to the ball to match. This and Hana's costume were totally made from scratch, exept for our shirts of course. I also wore a crinoline under my skirt, while Hana didn't. I'm *very* proud of these costumes ^-^
