This costume was constructed out of stretch velvet and faux fur. I went out of my way to buy fur that matched the sheen of the velvet so it would look consistent.
Unfortunately, my sewing machine is getting on in years and hated the velvet. All of the fur trim had to be sewn on by hand. What I thought was going to be an easy costume ended up taking hours hand stitching D:
There was a lot of work done at friend's houses and in the hotel because I waited too long to get started as usual.

This costume was made to match the wonderful DaydreamerNessa, and as luck would have it, she made her bodysuit out of the same material as my dress w/o us even discussing it! It was awesome!

I love how the costume came out, and the wig would not have even happened if it were not for YAfromUK slaving over it, making little ringlets out of the back while I was stitching the trim on. I envy her wig talent! It was perfect!
