Does this chick rock or what? I freaking love Uncharted!

Elena is, by far, my favorite video game girl of all time! With the news of Uncharted 2 and Elena being in it, I felt even more inspired to cosplay as her.

Seeing as Uncharted 2 was THE BEST FREAKING GAME EVER, I hope to assemble both her street clothes and her awesome orange winter coat, possibly for Ohayocon. Would anybody like to be my Jeff The Cameraman? LOL! I'd also like to do a "special" version of Elena that would definitely be a spoiler to anyone who wasn't able to finish the game yet... so, we'll keep that a secret until it debuts ;)

About this outfit: I know a lot of people frown down upon cosplays that are basically everyday clothing, but I did my absolute darndest to try and make this as accurate as possible. I'm always trying to look for items that are even better than these ones in hopes of perfecting it. I had the belt and pants already... and I found the combination of shirts at a local thrift store. Believe it or not, the shoes were the toughest piece to find! Elena's shoes are kind of a mix of sandals and tennis shoes, and I eventually found ones that I think are very close to what she wears in the game (and they're comfy too, yay!).

My husband will eventually be joining me as Nate which I'm very excited about and my bestest bud is cosplaying as Chloe! Look for our Uncharted group at Ohayocon 2010! XD

If you're interested in cosplaying another character with us... possibly Jeff or Sully, LOL! Send a PM my way! We'd love to have you and would be MORE than willing to aid you with the costume! (ie: pay for it so all you have to do is stand around and look awesome XD).
