The costume that took forever! It's still not quite 100% done, I didn't finish the boots before the con, and we couldn't get the ribbons to float so they were nixed. They exist, they just dont work yet.
The only pattern used in this was for the jacket, but that was heavily modified. Celesdragon patterned and made the capelet, it's all kinds of win. The skirt is a true circle, it has no seams! The red trim is bias tape run through buttonholes. Yep. Lots and lots and lots of buttonholes. I don't even want to add them up, it's sufficient to say that it's at least a metric bumload of buttonholes.
The sword was made by my husband (suzaku_seishi is his screen name, he was our Frey.)
I worked on Nyozeka and Frey as well, plus all of the accessories! Celesdragon and I made all the bracelets, Maram master masks, and lotis pendants. They have mirrors in them, and attach to the costumes magnetically (mine's on the fridge right now!)
