This cosplay debuted at Kawaii Kon 2010 which was from April 16-18, 2010 at the Hawaii Convention Center.
I enjoyed being Zero for a day. I got to act all emo and angry which is totally unlike me. And I had a lot of fun picking on my friend who cosplayed Yuuki. :3
Originally, I was supposed to be Kaname by request from my Yuuki friend. She had her cosplay for so long and wanted a Kaname partner. I agreed at first but then I decided to change to Zero. After all, I'm a complete Zeki fan and I need to support my shipping. xD
Sadly, we cosplayed them on Sunday and had absolutely no time to join in the Vampire Knight photoshoot... Kaname even came and personally asked the two of us to join it. After all, they had no Zero... Instead, they only had a couple of Yuukis and a bunch of random people wearing the VK uniform. Too bad that we were too busy selling pre-registration tickets for Kawaii Kon 2011 that day. Boo. D:
I'm sort of glad in a way though. I had no Bloody Rose and didn't bother to draw the tattoo on my neck. I didn't even have vampire fangs because the ones I bought looked ridiculous on me. I couldn't even be bothered to put on my crossplay foundation that morning because I was so burnt out... I was such a fail Zero. /brick'd
Finally, thanks to Amphigory for the Fashion 101 wig! The wig was so soft and silky~ It makes me want to go out and find more uses for it in the future. Perhaps Prince Mytho from Princess Tutu... :o
(BTW, this was yet another cosplay that I completed on my own. My mom just showed me how to sew on the ribbon and I got started sewing on all the details onto the pre-bought jacket. I learned never to do that again though. It's super annoying and hard to sew through the lining without ruffling the jacket... Still proud with how it turned out for something I sewed by hand though~)
