Chrono Trigger

Got a killer closeout deal on lavender colored scrubs twill. Despite having a short train to drag around behind me, it's all in all, a comfy costume.

Pattern: I stole the sleeves from my Arwen LOTR pattern and drafted the rest freehand. Technically it looks like a 2 piece dress but I wanted a 1 piece dress to zip into and go so the pieces are craftily connected and have a nice back zip.

The gown is fully lined with satin.

The wig was a work in progress.
Round 1: Tried to put wig into full ponytail like you would with real hair sans stubbing. Result was very heavy and not comfortable to wear.

Round 2: Tried to use the same tactic as round 1 but used a banana clip to help distribute weight. Result was better but still heavy and causing the wig to slide.

Final round: Made low ponytail, flipped up, made ponytail clip, clipped it over the flipped up lower ponytail, teased ponytails for volume, voila. Result was a well balanced and comfortable-to-wear wig. Why didn't I think of this process first?!
