This was my second costume, and because I'm still learning how to do things, my mom helped me again.

I fell in love with Kaoru's Myaku costume and was set on making it. It looked hard, but I thought it would be fun to wear. I'd seen a small picture of the back of the costume and noticed just in time that it had a corset effect, which made me love the outfit's design even more. XD I can't remember at all how long it took to make (I think we did it over the course of about a week, doing a bit each day...this was done last year so I can't really remember. x.x;;). That was just the outfit though. The wig is what took me ages. <.< I worked on that fool for many hours, and it doesn't look right. >.> But it was fun working and playing with it. And to think I did it all with clear Elmer's glue. XD I got long loose hair, braided it, and tied it into the ponytail, only to find out after gluing the ponytail down like mad that I only had two of the three braids. x.x So I made another and somehow managed to tie it in.

But I didn't do the spikes right, and it looks lacking of hair. >.o I had to take some of the hair from the front to add to the ponytail and make the spikes look the right length (after putting the back into a ponytail, the hair length was shortened by the height of the place I tied it). The thinness of the spikes make them look smaller. It was hard, lol, but I think that if I could do it again with a wig with longer hair, I could make it look a lot better. >.> I'd love to re-do it, but wigs are expensive, especially since I'd be wanting to get the version of it with longer hair (higher price). Maybe another time. >>

Favorite part: The hair and the corset in the back. ^.^
Least favorite part: How hot the thing is to wear. x_X
