Medusa was such a fun costume. I've never cosplayed the villain before, so I had a blast as Medusa. And wearing it was basically like walking around in my pj's. <33

The actual costume is deceptively simple. It had to be a one piece jumpsuit, and this is probably the most modding I've ever done to a pattern to try to make sure that I had as few seams as possible. The eye design on the hood is white vinyl that is heat 'n bonded on.

Ahaha...also this was my first time spiking with a wig. This started out as a Clover skintop wig and a pack of matching extensions. Both were custom dyed using FW Acrylic Artist's ink before I went in and tackled the spikes/wierd twisty thing. Both were accomplished using ungodly amounts of got2be glue, aquanet hairspray, and a blowdryer.

Important notes. When you superglue fake nails to your fingers, it really hurts when you pull them off. Also, walking around barefoot at Katsucon is ill-advised.
