Shugo Chara! became one of my latest obession and one of my favourite Amine's in 2008 and before I got deeply into the Amine, I really like Amu's school uniform desgin and pink hair. School uniforms are very common in Manga/Amine and I must say a Shugo Chara uni is my most favourite design. It's so cool, funky and I pretty much have a thing for tartan skirts and black blazers. Plus I love the combination of red and black together. What more inspiration does this cosplay need?

I finally decided to cosplay as Amu for Midlands Expo in February 2009, because my friend wanted to cosplay as Tadase in his school uniform & he asked me to be his Amu & obviously I found it too difficult to refuse. I was on a tight bugdet, I needed something fairly cheap and I already own the shoes, white shirt and I can use my MisaMisa skirt, so all I need is the red tie, black cardigan and leg warmers. I have plently of black jersey fabric left from my live action Misa cosplay, so I will have no probs with money ^_^ A big thanks to my Tadase cosplayer for buying the wig for my birthday present, I really appreciate for making my Amu cosplay complete!
