Aaaah, my first "just-watched-the-anime-and-must-cosplay-from-it-immediately" costume! I made the whole costume way back in November, believe it or not. That's the earliest I'd ever finished a costume before the debut con! The yay!flow-y coat was some really old 60's pattern as a base and then WHOA EXTENDED AND REFORMATTED. It's liiiiiined too~. First time lining something and the whole time I was handsewing it on I was like "Guh. Why am I lining something FOUR FEET LONG?!" Ooh, boots are another favorite part because they're HUGENORMOUS and AWESOME.

Now the scythe on the other hand... that was definitely a "oh-crap-five-days-to-Katsucon" thing and it looks the part. :/ It still makes me happeeeee though! Awkward props are the best props!
