Baru and I hatched up a scheme to make these outfits to get into the Katsucon Valentines Day Ball....which ended up being an epic failure because the line was insanely long.

Anywaaayz. CLOSET COSPLAY FTW. No seriously. Both Baru and I work at [different] snazzy italian restuarants where the black collared shirt and pant ensemble is dress code. So all we had to do was whip up those vests and belts - which are quite nicely made mind you. The vests are fully lined and are made of a lovely cream bridal fabric. The belts were made from this textured faux suede fabric that Baru found, and the buckles and eyelets are all distressed to look more like the reference images.
