Felixious got me into Gintama, and typical of most Gintama cosplayers, you decide to cosplay as one, and you decide to cosplay as fifty. Anyway, she was really wanting to debut her Tsukuyo costume, and I really loved Kagura's outfit from the Yoshiwara arc, so I decided to make it!

I love the fabric I used for Kagura's kimono- I was able to shop in the printed cottons section of my fabric store because I had vouchers for that store, they were having a discount sale on them AND I used my student discount- so I ended up getting about £40 worth of fabric for only £12 :D The red kimono has faint shadows of leaves on it, and the pink collar has a really tiny white flower print. The yellow obi and bow is also mottled with orangeish spots and it all looks really nice together.
