The first thing I have sewn completely by myself, from the buttons on my sailor dress scarf to the lining, this dress was an amazing way to end my first big convention! I used a vintage 1950s sailor top pattern and altered it to get the fit I wanted for this outfit, and added details like the cuffs, trim, and lining to make it accurate.

The main body is made of white suiting, while the green detailing is made of a hunter green suiting. The white trim is a simple white braiding sewn onto the scarf and sleeves. I used Posh Lining on the interior for a comfortable and warm fit.
