I finally got her done :) (and finally got around to updating my c.com.....) had Nia finished for ohayocon this year, but she got waaaayyyy more floor time at MTAC (which was awesome BTW) Soooo, yeah.....I watched gurren Lagann over the course of two days and I fell totally head over heels in love with Nia, she's just so damn adorable. So first came pre-time skip, then the Jacket was made (not pictured yet.....pictures later along with the shorter wig) and then came Wedding Nia, and Anti Spiral Nia is in the works, so yeah, I'm obsessed :P Anyways, onto construction stuff.....


Gold bling made using the craft foam armor method, and since I am NOT by any means a prop person in the slightest, I went the cop out way and bought clear gems and painted them to match...... The fabric part of the costume is flannel (pink) and stretch cotton blend (white skirt and tie/scarf. I bought the wig (sorry not hardcore enough to risk failing miserably at dying my own this time :P ) and the little gold hair accessories are actually Evangelion clips in disguise (Spray painted gold.....)
