COSTUME
Spike Spiegel from Cowboy Bebop

Spike Spiegel

Cowboy Bebop

Status: 100% finished | Debuted: Anime Expo '05

First Uploaded: 02-15-2005 | Last Update: 01-29-2008

Description

The hardest part of the costume is the fact that you will never find a real suit jacket that fits like this.
Lots of modifing to a real suit pattern plus careful color matching to the anime and figures I own and.... Here ya go!

We still need to make the pants.
Due to how long it took to actually get the jacket done and to line it and everything... We never had a change to get pants ready.
We do still have enough fabric for pants, as what was originally planned.
We still have not made them becasue we keep working on new costumes snce the current pants are "good enough" for now :P

Debuted at Anime Expo 2005.
I really didn't get much attetion... Which was alright, I still had a lot of fun.
And I thank everyone for there comments on how well they thought the costume turned out.

Anime Expo 2006, however... was a totally different story XD

----------------------
I have not won any official awards.

But...
Having an entire group of Japanese people geek over you and each one shakes your hand very firmly and takes pictures (further geek out when I pulled out my fake cigerette) was quite an experence.
And then for them to return with more of there friends.... lol
