So yes. I hopped on the Death Note bandwagon and cosplayed Light. It was kind of accidental, as I originally cosplayed him at Sakura-Con '07 when my third costume fell through and we realized my friend could pull off L pretty decently (and I could pull of Light). o.< Anyway, the first time it was hastily thrown together and was just pretty bad (especially because there ended up being a ton of other Ls and Lights that were much better), so I decided I had to do it *properly* at some point.

The costume was almost entirely purchased (whoo thrift shops), except for my Death Note with my friend made for me. <3 But yeah, I can't really take credit for this costume in terms of craftsmanship.

Even though I truly loathe Light's character, I have to admit it was pretty fun cosplaying a meglomanical sociopath. Hmmm, what does this say about me...? xD;

(I also cosplayed him from his tennis match, but nobody really got the reference. Just proves what I complete nerd I am. xDD)

(As of Gasukan 14 (Feb. ’09), I also cosplayed end-of-series-generic-suit!Light. Attached the photos to this costume since it wasn’t worth making a new entry over. :P)
