About a year before Sakura-Con 2008, my old interest in a little thing called Yu-Gi-Oh! was rekindled when my friend discovered LittleKuriboh's Abridged Series. Somehow, I became completely engrossed in the fandom like I never had back during middle school, and when I found out a bunch of people were going to be cosplaying it at con, I thought, "why not?". So, being the costuming masochist I am, I decided to cosplay Dark Magician Girl, because she is just too adorable. xD

While this was a challenging costume, it was so rewarding. I had a blast wearing it; DMG is apparently a pretty popular character, I was (pleasantly) surprised by how many hugs I got! :D
