I wanted to do this so badly. Severely. To be a canon Mary-Sue. I remember a time when I hadn't seen Gurren Lagann but had seen a picture of Nia and I was like, 'Wow. I need to do that.'

And so I did.

Armor is made from Craft Foam covered in gold fabric paint (with the exception of the arm bands, those are plastic place mats), with easycast clear resin gems. The hair clips and jewel settings are model magic.

The main dress is stretch cotton sateen dyed pink, and the skirt is a light pink fabric lining.

The wig is two wigs from Prichara sewn together using Cosmode's Nia wig tutorial.
