I been a long time fan of Yamcha ever since I was first exposed to him in the 5th grade in the form of the original Dragonball which aired on TV. He was kind of a role model for me, as he was nervious around girls but cool and I was nervious around girls but not cool.

This cosplay is an arrangement of a few aspects of Yamcha put together in something that hopefully will be noticeable at cons.

This is the classic get up Yamcha wears when we first meet him in the original Dragonball series when he was a Desert Bandit and stole anything valuable, such as money or capsules, from anyone who crossed his desert. He wears this throughout the course of the series until he is trained under Master Roshi where he adopts the usual Orange gi symbolic to anyone who trained at the Kami House.

This variation will be as true to the original design as possible save for a minor adjustments:
the hair and the scars.
I do intend to wear the symbolic scars across his eye and cheek despite he doesn't receive these until well later into the story.
The hair may end up an issue as far as wigs go so I may end up using one of his other hair styles from another point of the series (in either DB or DBZ)
