I been a long time fan of Yamcha ever since I was first exposed to him in the 5th grade in the form of the original Dragonball which aired on TV. He was kind of a role model for me, as he was nervious around girls but cool and I was nervious around girls but not cool.

This was the standard orange gi that everyone wore who trained at the Kami House under Master Roshi.
I wore the "Kaio" kanji on the back of the gi and the "Kami" kanji on the chest (the same way as worn in DBZ Movie 3 "The Tree of Might"/ "Dragon Ball Z: Super Deciding Battle for the Entire Planet Earth").

This was also a massive fail for cosplay.
I wore this out on Halloween, couldn't get the scars to work and everyone who saw me thought I was Goku.
I did have a number of younger kids want pictures and so on, however it is this reason that I will never cosplay this version of Yamcha to any convention.
