Euram Barows is my favorite character from Suikoden V so I took great pains in making this costume as accurate to his character and personality as possible. Almost everything in the costume is made of either silk or velvet (or both in the case of the coat).

The embroidery was designed by myself in Adobe Illustrator and then put on the cape using an embroidery machine. The gold leaf on the bottom of the coat was painted on using a pigment dust and glue. It worked very well as any dust that got elsewhere on the velvet was easily wiped off later.
