My friend wanted a Nel cosplay so I agreed to help. Already sewed the robe/dress for her.

The skull was trickier to figure out than I would have liked. Since there aren't many craft stores in this area, decided to make the skull out of foam her mom had from a package.

First cut the walls off the foam blocks to get two sheets to glue together. Then carved out the shape with a knife using her head and a manaquin head for reference. (What a mess!! Styrofoam everywhere!! ^-^;;)

Then paper mached the skull to make it smoother and reinforce it. Still have to add a layer of paper under the eyes to make the dark circles, paint a layer of white, paint on the scar and nosetrils, and glue on the teeth.
