After I did red hoodie Canada for Naka-kon, I really wanted another version of of him to do. Sadly, my options for costumes were slim. I kinda wanted to do his coat military type outfit, but I could find nothing that remotely work, and I know for a fact that my limited sewing skillz could not produce something like it for a few million years. Three days after the con, the WBC strip was posted and translated and before I even saw it, my friend told me about it on the way home from work and she was like "You so want to cosplay it don't you?"

I caved. I wasn't going to get a new costume before Acen, but oh was it shiny. And Canada is one of my favorite character so it really pushed to get done.

A lot of the design, I had to mess with. In the strip there was no color and he changed his outfit in like...every panel. XD So I actually took a lot from the actual Canadian team's uniform, but I did change a few things for look/money sake.

A lot of this costume was bought. The hat is actually an official WBC hat I bought off ebay, and I was lucky enough to get it in a super large size. The jersey is the only thing I heavily modded. I bought a regular white baseball jersey and added the red sleeves and the text on the front and back.

I'm super proud how this turned out. It's really adorable and I fail at baseball about as much as Canada does. <3
