I've had many versions of this costume. It was the first costume I made by myself for Katsucon 2001. Needless to say, it was god aweful. I have revamped it 3 times so far and would LOVE to redo it again (now that the one I did for a commission was sooooooo much better.) The latest version was worn at Anime Mid-Atlantic 2004. The photos below are mix and match from the current and the costume before it.

Construction notes:
The skirt, top, sleeves, and black top are all made from cotton. The obi is satin painted with fabric paint. The current obi and bow are stuffed with foam (the older one was stuffing).
The staff is my first and last attempt at a weapon. ::laughs at it::
