This outfit took so much detail work over a period of two months. I'd love to enter it into a masquerade at some point in time. All of the butterfly details are hand painted. On the vest in particular, each section of the wings is sewn on seperately and looks pretty symmetrical. The boots are altered and covered in matching fabric to the skirt and vest. I also made two of the pouches on the belt functional, so I could carry my wallet, phone, and hotel key with me.
