This costume was my greatest undertaking since Piccolo. Everything was done in painstaking pieces:
1) The snout was ordered from Northfur.ca.
2) the top was originally sewn from that black velvet, then the tatoos were painted on with fabric paint.... which ruined it. So I had to cut them out, and put white fabric underneath which ended up looking blotched and sloppy :(
3) The legs were an innovation, with sturdy Bristol canvas enforced by coat hanger with thread hot glued to it, which were sewn to straps that I could put on like socks.
4) The tail was mounted on a high gauge wire that doesn't bend from gravity. However the hole heavy, 2D thing could only be attached to my body by three clips that attached to my belt at 3 points. BAH! That took ages to figure out.
5) The claws were super, super frustrating and took till the morning of the con to finish. I LOVE HOT GLUE!
