Lots of chiffon and embossed bridal satin went into the making of this! I cut and draped the skirt layers so that there would be no side seams and minimal fraying. I used the embossed satin underneath the layers of chiffon to give the outfit some texture, so I wouldn't become a cream-colored blob-mess (cream and yellow tones are a wench with my skintone, so I tried to make it work). The bodice was partly drafted up by myself, and partly frankenstein-ed from pieces of patterns I had on hand. The sleeves, believe it or not, were probably the most involved part of the entire costume - the puffy part is stuffed with crinoline, and has strips of the embossed satin sewn around it, and I put grommets and laces in the longer part of the sleeve to match the artwork. The bottom parts are mini circle skirts, and a little section of the circular part is lace, for a little texture and interest.
