Funny story behind this costume. Most of it came from the version I made for SakuraCon 2004. Sadly, I was NEVER happy with the gi, and when I got a haircut and used my own hair for it, I vowed never to use my real hair for cosplay ever again.

Somewhere around the beginning of this year, I decided I wanted to touch up and/or remake most of my old costumes, and get some good pictures in them. First in the lineup is Yuri. The gi was completely re-made, by taking apart the first one, COMPLETELY, trimming ti down, tailoring it, and then adding in the side-slits this time. The hair isn't perfect, as the wig was just borrowed from my Sophie costume, but it works well enough. Most of this costume was purchased; unitard, and leg warmers, as well as dollar-store gloves. I painted the shoes, and the gi and belt were made by hand, as was the head-band.
