INSPIRATION: OMG, a video game starring Etna, Morrigan, Misha, and so many, many more sexy babes with MULTIPLE COSTUMES? Excuse me while I go make ALL THE COSTUMES!
THE WIG: This is a constant work in progress. Half of this was styled a year ago, that's right, one year ago, and the other had been sitting around waiting to be styled ever since. I styled that other at 3 am the night before the photoshoot... and you can kind of tell. Oh boy.
THE YUKATA: This is a proud piece of mine! Because I am poor, I was commissioned to do Natalie's Morrigan yukata, and paid in the materials for my Etna. It is black bridal satin, fully lined. I loves it. The skulls were a bitch to paint, I had to do at least three layers of each color--five or more for the yellow and green. I hate tulip fabric paint, it's cheap and melty (no heat setting here unlike jacquard) but it was the only neon kind at Joann's. I used two stencil shapes I drew for size reference. This entire thing is short, short, short! The back has two holes for the wings.
THE OBI: I hate this material. I don't wanna talk about it.
THE SKULL CHARM: He's so cute, isn't he? Model magic, acrylic, polyurethane, primer, acrylic, acrylic, mod podge, in that order! The ribbon is velvet and the bow is faked and glued on the back.
SANDALS: No, they're not geta. I need to fix up this part!
