Pikacello and Hoshikaji really wanted to get together an Odin Sphere group, so Umi, liddo-chan, and I all made costumes for a game we hadn't played. (Yes, I'm one of THOSE Velvets. For shame, I know! Still, it's an awesome design, and I'm glad I made it.)

Velvet was the opportunity to use the luxurious fabrics I'd frankly been afraid to use ever since I started cosplaying. This was my first time using box pleats- or pleats of any kind, for that matter. I broke a surprising amount of needles on this.

The wig I used for Wondercon was too short; I got a new one for Fanime, but then I didn't end up wearing the costume. I still need to make her weapon and fix a couple things about the skirt before the group gets together again.
