This was a costume that I'd been building up for several years from stuff I got at the Ren Fest and secondhand stores. I got the pointed ears at Gen Con 2004, and that officially made it an elf. Some people may say that I'm too tall to be an elf (6 feet 1 inch), but I just dismiss that and say no, I'm just an unusually tall elf. '^_^'

As Halloween 2004 approached, I plugged my name into the Elvish Name Generator that I found (http://www.chriswetherell.com/elf/) and got Maeglin Tasartir, so I decided to decided to give this elf a name finally. You'll see him at the Michigan Renaissance Festival at least once each year. '^_^' Huzzah!
