Description

Oh god. This was quite possibly one of the craziest and most technical costumes I've ever made. The embroidery was done by machine, but honestly, it's not half as easy as it sounds. Firstly, I had to hand draw out the exact embroidery. Then, it had to be scanned into a computer where I had to alter the stitches, as well as clean up the lines and resize it. Then, when it was sent to the machine, it needed to be resized and gauged about 3 times per panel. There were 8 panels in total, two of each. It was a project that took 24 hours straight.

There's swarovski crystal embellishments on the embroidery, which was a really nice touch. The lace was made by me, mirrored together and satin stitched.

The hat is my pride and joy. I made it using fabric, hot glue, and cardstock. GENIUS. lol.
