So far, Shinji's suit is costing me about $100, but it is pretty elaborate. That's because this costume is worth it to me; I like the series a lot. And I am putting a lot more handiwork into this that anything I have in the past. In the final suit, the real items, if different from the list, are marked by ((double parentheses)).
- Blue lycra stretch leggings, or blue leg tights with long underwear so skin does not show through

- Blue gloves ((blue spandex lycra opera gloves, reaching just above the elbow))
- Wrist shapes ((cut toes off of old socks, rolled them up, and wore like bracelets under the gloves))
