"DON'T BLAME ME!"

The Road to El Dorado is literally my favorite animated film of all time (yes, even over Disney) and I've pretty much been watching it nonstop since I was 13. I can quote it from beginning to end and I know the entire soundtrack by heart <3 When Delusion and I found out that her friend Savi was cosplaying Chel, we jumped into the opportunity to transform ourselves into Miguel and Tulio! (Tulio and Miguel!).

Believe it or not, I can relate to Miguel quite a bit... aside from the awesomeness of him actually being a green-eyed blonde (just like me), his personality is a lot like mine.

I was utterly surprised and delighted by the positive feedback that we received at Otakon. We received so many hugs and thank-yous... it was kind of mind-blowing since I was unaware of just how many other people love this movie and were happy to see cosplay from it. I'd have to say that portraying Miguel with my friends is one of my favorite cosplay experiences to date!

I hope that we can do it again in the future, I had an absolute blast!
