Pirika was the very first cosplay that I really wanted to attempt. I don't know why, she's not one of my favorite characters or anything, but she was. The forcing of my brother to be Horohoro came later! XD

The wig wasn't as light as I would have liked it to be but it works, and the rest of the costume was easy enough to find or make. I had a black skirt that was the perfect length and so I just put the white squares (things) onto that. The pink jacket I bought for about ten bucks at a second hand store and even though it dosn't zip up like Pirika's does I think it still works well. I just took a white headband and freehanded the design on it for her headband. For the boots I had a failed attempt at crocheting them so I just cut it out of felt and hot glued it to some flipflops. They work quite well and I actually got a compliment on them from somebody at Anime Iowa :3
