Kingdom Hearts II

Whooooo! This was a dream costume to make, but also a nightmare! Since Kairi is a Princess of Heart, I decided to give her a gown for it. I've been wanting to make this costume for a good two years, but finally had enough money and skill to make it. It's by far the most expensive costume I've ever made. x_x
I got a lot of my inspiration from both Arina Tanemura and Disney for the whole thing. The whole thing was very comfortable to wear, but also very high maintenance! When I tried to take the train back up using the finger loop I sewn into the back of the train, I ended up getting my legs tangled in the back of it. x__x I'm still surprised I didn't fall flat on my face and impale myself with my Keyblade.
The shoes I wore are a pair of customized pink low-heeled pumps with white lace trim. They're quite big to go along with the Kingdom Hearts signature of characters having huge feet. XD; Surprisingly, they're very comfortable and easy to walk in. My bracelet and earrings have bows and hearts on them, although it is pretty hard to see from a distance.
The dress was a pain to make since it has so much fabric in it--including the lining, there's about fourteen yards of fabric in it. XD;; There's scallops on the front panel of the skirt, but it's kinda hard to see in most pictures since my petticoat didn't want to behave... I need to fix that thing.
