This was the first cosplay I have ever made. I made this for our school's anime club cosplay group (we were cosplaying from Soul Eater at ALA 2009 and performed in the masquerade - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=41Rbh6NiM4Y). I had a lot of help from people in my school's anime club as well as my mom's friend for the collar. Overall I think this costume was a good intro to sewing for me since I have never sewn before. Although after AX 2009 I realize that wearing nearly all black in hot weather is not fun at all.
