This is the cloak that I made for my boyfriend to go as Dream to the Comic-con. This is me modeling it from behind to adhere to the rules: must show self in costume. Originally I was going to stitch flames on the inside as well, but then I realized that you would see the stitching from the other side of the fabric, so I stuck to one side only; it was a lot of sewing and the fabric, being really big, had to be bunched up as I moved it around the sewing machine to stitch in different directions. It was also really prone to curling up when I sewed almost making little pockets and folds in the orange and red fabrics. It was also pretty hard to get the red and orange to fit together like a puzzle, I got pretty close though.
