I've never heard of Hetalia til the show came out in January. It was funny but I was like "Wtf?" so I started reading it. Thus, the obsession began. America wasn't even my favorite character but his outfit was kinda simple so I did it. xDD

I just threw this costume together a month before the con but some stuff was missing that I consider vital elements like his fur collar, ahoge(the hair that sticks out), and the white fur around the hem of the boots. Also the jacket I bought was too light for him.

Oh! And I thought I'd be daring enough to replace the 50 on his back with a more awesome "Fuck Yeah". Thanks to the people singing that song to me all day at the con. *salutes*

I want to bring him back complete when NYAF '09 hits along with a new Hetalia cosplay. ;)
