I really loved this costume as soon as I saw it! I've seen other people do versions that look more anime-like (almost like Link from Zelda), but never this one. As soon as I saw the shiny fabric I knew I had to do it!

I modified an ice skating leotard pattern for her dress and made boot covers (they're the same boots I used for my star trek girl!)

The bolts were actually glowing, but it doesn't show in most of the photos due to the flash - I made these using thin plastic (OHT paper) covered in semi-translucent foil and put glowsticks inside :) They were certainly a huge hit!
