Some of the most fun I've ever had in a costume. Ever. The pleather was fun to work with, but the armor was troublesome. Armor was done with a large soy sauce bucket and a plastic storage container thing using a method totally ripped from rofltrain because he's awesome.

My babies-- I mean my spears were made with broomsticks, foam and foamboard, and lots and lots of love. :3 AND OF COURSE LOTS AND LOTS OF FIERY MANLY PASSION. WHOO WHOO!

I chose the anime version as opposed to the video game versions because Yukimura is significantly less beefy in the anime (but still pretty freaking buff). My arms were totally padded because I am skinny skinny little girl. I completely rushed through this costume in a few weeks because I'm a stupid procrastinator, so some fixing is in store for it, specifically the wig and armor.
